Adding HTML Signature to your iPhone 4 without Jailbreaking it

One of the features missing on the iPhone is HTML signature for Mail, and if you are using two different email addresses like me you probably want to have two different Signatures, right? Even with the new iPhone 4 you can’t.
I created a solution for that (without jailbreaking the iPhone) and I use it all the time.
Yesterday I decided to share it with the world, please go here to use it and drop a line if you like it or if you have any suggestions .

I would like to know how to save it to the homescreen of my iphone? Also, is there a way to have it show up in replies instead of only when you create a new email through the link?
Thanks
This works really well…I’m impressed that I was able to figure it out with my limited knowledge…Thanks!
I have tried to upload the info for the signature twice and had the emailed link sent to me BUT the link when opened only shows the application page again and no html signature info so ????
Why is the logo button greyed out? I have a new AT&T iPhone 4. I opted to upload a logo to our server and use URL but that doesn’t work. Any help? This is amazing and i’ll tell all my friends… but I am a designer and am greedy for a graphic
. Thanks.
Might be in your spam. please check
Hi,
Great idea, filled in form – but haven’t received email…

David
Tried to add logo, but this is grayed out and will not allow.
Please advise.

Hiya.
Great work. Relly neet, BUT the button to upload logo is greyed out. Why? How to do?
Thanls
Thanks
I have a client who wants exactly this functionality and only wants a graphic to appear as the signature. This works but the graphic in the final email comes out at a fraction of the size of the actual graphic. Any ideas?
downloaded and signature looks good, great app.
only thing is i am not recieving any mail now, have sent myself tests from a few different email addresses but not recieving anything, sending ok though
any ideas???
Hi Barbara, You need to save a link to the iPhone springboard and click it when ever you want to send an email with your signature.
Good Luck.
Im having a little trouble. I have created it. Got the email. How do I save it to use in the future? When I send an email its not there, so Im assuming I need to cut/paste each time. Just not understanding how to do this. Thanks!!
Is this program still active? I have created a signature but not recieved and email and server cannot be found using Safari.
Editing the signature currently not available. Coming Soon..
Yes, You can.
Can you use this on the iPad too?
Great App – Thanks
1. How can the signature be edited
2. Unable to add Logo – the link is grayed out
would you consider developing one for android?
This is excellent! The only thing I saw is when you reply the signature does not show up. Is there a way to fix that?
Thank you
You have to make sure that your cache is on.
Do you have to type the pin number each time you press the saved ‘Home Screen’ button? On one iPhone (3G) I don’t seem to have to but on a mates 3GS you do… or at least have the page with the password open in the safari… any clues?
Cheers… amazing little thing though!
Shalom brother Cool app Thanks
Is it possible to edit entries once they have been made? If so, how?
And can you guide me through the url upload page for the logo. I am sorry but I have no idea how to do that.
Thanks
Due to heavy traffic we moved to a new server.
It took some time until we felt at home.
Everything should be working now.
I send an email but it takes forever to get it…as a matter of fact i have not gotten ones i sent myself in either junk or inbox
The space for phone numbers does not have enough spaces for office extension numbers. How do you add ext numbers, plus the international +XX numbers?
Otherwise great app.
Hi,
This is an amazing little widget.
Would like to know if the twitter icons, ect only show up on iPhone 4, sent them to my partners iPhone 3G from my iPhone 4 and it didn’t show up on her iPhone.
Also uploading an icon/avitar is that possible from an iPhone?
Thanks for noticing this tiny bug Mike, It fixed now.
Intresting, I’ll take a look.
In making the signature twice now, my city is excluded. It simply will not come through on siggy.
Bug?
Great tool though. I was always wanting a separate sig for work/personal email
Excellent ! I am impressed!
Some suggestions:
1) It would be great to be able to choose the order of the different items and to control when a blank line should be added or not.
2) I am not sure we need the “Email” caption before the email (or a logo would be nicer !)
3) Nice to have: to be able to choose different logos for each line.
All in all, a very useful tool, already very well done.
Thanks a lot for providing this for free
Alain
I have been looking like something like this for YEARS. Thank you SO much!
A few questions:
Loving the cell/work icons but is there any way to switch the order of them? I’d love to not show my cell number as the first one because at work I’m at my desk most of the time where my cell doesn’t get coverage (Argh AT&T)
While within the email app I can copy/paste and switch these, there is no way to save the end product. I’ve tried many methods and even pastebot is no good at it.
Also, is there any way to utilize this signature when replying to an email rather than just creating one?
Thanks!
~Matty
Thanks for the support.
Since yesterday I got 100′s of requests regarding the iPhone HTML signature tool..
So I Added/Changed few things as per your requests
1. Facetime Logo instead of anchor text.
2. Facebook URL & Logo
3. Twitter URL & Logo
4. Linkedin URL & Logo
5. Skype URL & Logo
6. Mobile / Work Phone Logos
7. Support for non-US numbers.
8. Coming Soon: Uploading a logo from URL.
Same comment as Vivian the phone number boxes aren’t
international. UK is +44 208 123 4567 for example
and mobiles are various lengths depending if they’re pay as-you-go or contract. So you need leave the phone fields open if you want to please us international fans!
Could you please add some more number slots to the phone fields?
In Australia our mobile numbers are listed as
Country Code + Mobile
+61 – 0433 – 123 – 123
I could live without the + but the rest?
Thanks
Great work. Some things I would like to see:
- Anchor Text Links
- Fields to add social network profile links
- Option to have image on top or bottom
- Option to use icons i.e. Phone, Web, Email, etc. instead of text labels
Thanks again.
Works great!
One warning…gmail seems to be blocking the image that I embedded in my signature, so gmail recipients may not get the full effect of a clever or company logo.
Thanks for providing this!
