One of the features missing on the iPhone is HTML signature for Mail, and if you are using two different email addresses like me you probably want to have two different Signatures, right? Even with the new iPhone 4 you can’t.

I created a solution for that (without jailbreaking the iPhone) and I use it all the time.

One of the things I don’t like to see is a tiny version of a site shrank to an icon, I see it all the time on the iPhone.

Even Big Sites like Google Voice not taking the time to create a custom icon for there site.

If you care enough about your visitors, Please create an iPhone / Smart Phone version of your site and while doing it make sure to create an icon to go with your site.

It will also help you brand yourself.

There’s 2 methods to do just that.

The 1st is extremely easy.

1. You need to create a PNG format image file that’s 45×45 pixels in size.

2. Name it apple-touch-icon.png and drop it in the root directory of your Web site.

3. Go to your iPhone, Open The browser and save the bookmark on your springboard.

4. Sit back and enjoy your new creation.

The 2nd is easy but requires a bit of code.

If you want to keep things organized in sub-folders or just want to have more than one icon, you can add a link command to specify a different file-name or different location for your apple-touch-icon.png custom file:
