The sync is good but [...]]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-200" title="google-sync-comic" src="http://www.coolgeex.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/google-sync-comic.png" alt="google-sync-comic" width="340" height="250" /></p><p>After Google Announced about their Exchange Server for iPhone support I decided to give it a try.</p><p>First thing was to get my Google Apps Mail Pushed to my phone, It works Great.</p><p>My second goal was to use Google to sync my contacts and save $99 a year using Apple Mobile Me.</p><p>The sync is good but if you have a picture for a contact or a custom fields (Like iPhone Number) it will not be synced.</p><p>So if you decide on doing the switch, remember to be careful and backup your contacts before, you&#8217;ll have to adjust your contacts to fit Google Contacts format and delete unnecessary contacts that was added during the years on your Google account.</p><p>This is my short experience with Google Exchange Server and the iPhone, let me know about your experience.</p><p>Update From Google:</p><p>1. Google Exchange only support iPhone 3.x OS and above.</p><p>2. The iPhone can synchronize up to 3 email address.
