There’s lots of fixes, I did not see any new features yet but I’ll let you know.

You can see the list of all the fixes at: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4014

Update:

The console have a new feature: Diagnostic and usage data collection.

With Mac OS X v10.6.3 and later, Mac OS X can automatically collect diagnostic and usage information from your Mac and send it to Apple for analysis. The information is sent only with your explicit consent, and is submitted anonymously to Apple.

You can turn it off by going to console->preferences and uncheck the option.

I tried to turn it ON again but it doesn’t let me.

Terminal windows are usually pretty boring, but you can make them more personal by adding a welcome message and changing some colors.

To do so, open your terminal under Applications –> Utilities.

Then type : open -e ~/.profile (The file will open in the graphic text editor)

Go to the end of the file and add the red text:

echo -n “Current Time: “ (To Show The Current Time)
date

echo “Disk Usage:” (To Show the Disk Usage)
df -h

echo “Hello $USER “ (To Get an hello message of the Login user)

alias ls=’ls -G’ (To make ls run in Graphic mode – list with colors)

If you also want to change your prompt you can set the variable PS1 by adding export PS1=”your setting ” to .profile.

here is mine:

export PS1="\e[0m\#.\e[0;31m@\t\e[0;36m[\u@\h \e[35m\w\e[0;36m] \e[0m\$ "

and it looks like that: 1.@11:50:26[User@User-MacBook /Users] $

I know that is looks scary, but it's pretty simple:

all the \e[x;xm are for colors (range is: 40-47;30-37) you should play with this one

\u will count the prompt lines for you

\t is for time (you can also use \@ For am/pm OR \T for 12H format)

\u is for current user

\h is for host (you can also use \H for full host name)

\w is for full working directory (\W will give you only the current directory)

This is just a simple example, you can do much more.

****For most linux systems the file would be .bashrc instead of .profile

I figured that if I’ll want to promote something one day I can use that list, so I wrote a script that captures all the email address to a file.

I’m using Macintosh Apple Mail and using the script editor.

This Is the Script:

[AppleScript]

tell application “Mail”
set theSelectedMessages to selection

set selectionCount to (count of theSelectedMessages)
if selectionCount is greater than 0 then
repeat with eachMessage in theSelectedMessages
set theAddress to extract address from sender of eachMessage

do shell script “echo ” & quoted form of (theAddress as text) & “>>~/tmpEmailList.txt”
end repeat
do shell script “cat ~/tmpEmailList.txt |sort|uniq >~/desktop/emailList.txt; rm ~/tmpEmailList.txt”
else
display dialog “Please Choose one OR more msgs”
end if
end tell

[/AppleScript]

I tried to upgrade my Mac to the new Snow Leopard and I got an error.

According to the Installation script I need to change my partition type from “Apple Partition Map” to “Apple GUI Map”.

To do that a disk reFormat is required.

According to Apple fresh install of the Snow Leopard from the update disk will not work.

For the rest of you that need to reInstall Leopard and Then Snow Leopard –> Skip It and Install Leopard Directly from the update disk.

Good Luck
