1. Boot from the DVD or Bootable Win 7 Flash Drive.

2. Follow the steps to install the OS.

*** While Prompt For product key, Just leave blank.

3. Open regedit.exe using the Start Menu Search and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Setup/OOBE/

4. Double-click the variable MediaBootInstall and change from “1″ to “0″.

5. Open the Start Menu again and type “command” in Start Menu search.

Right-click the “Command Prompt” shortcut and choose “Run as administrator.”

6. In the command line window that open, type:

slmgr /rearm and press Enter.

7.  A popup window will come up with success message. (Just Press Close/OK)

8. Restart  the computer.

9. Start the Activation Windows utility, enter in your product key and activate windows.

You’re done. you are now running a fresh activated installation of windows 7.
